University Audiologic

In 1984, University Audiologic Associates was founded by Robert Tice, Ph.D. As both a licensed Audiologist and a licensed hearing aid dispenser, Dr. Tice opened University Audiologic to improve the quality of hearing aid systems delivery in Sacramento.

After having received his Doctorate in Audiology, Dr. Tice established the graduate Audiology Program at California State University, Sacramento, where he taught audiology for more than 30 years. Many of the audiologists in Sacramento today were trained by Dr. Tice.

In 1984, Deborah Powell joined Dr. Tice at University Audiologic. She received her master’s in audiology in 1986 from CSU Sacramento and later purchased the business from Dr. Tice in 1999.

Just like Dr. Tice, Deborah Powell is a licensed audiologist and a licensed hearing aid dispenser. And just like Dr. Tice, Deborah Powell continues to provide full-service audiologic and hearing aid dispensing services to the Sacramento Area and beyond.
